Since 2004, I've taught yoga across India's most sacred spaces — Rishikesh, Dharamshala (the home of His Holiness the Dalai Lama), and Arambol Goa — before bringing my practice to South East Asia. I hold an E-RYT 500 certification with Yoga Alliance and have trained extensively in traditional Ashtanga Yoga since 2009.

I founded Ashta Yoga Valley and have spent over two decades refining how yoga is taught one-on-one. I don't apply a generic formula — I study each student's body, history, and goals, then craft a practice as unique as they are.

For most goals — whether learning the basics, therapeutic relief, or deepening an existing practice — a minimum of 3 sessions is recommended so you can build on each lesson. However, even a single session delivers real value and a concrete home practice to take away.

Just comfortable, breathable clothing. Amit brings the expertise. If practicing on-site in Da Nang, a yoga mat can be provided. For home or hotel sessions, any non-slip surface is sufficient. No special equipment is needed.

Yes — private sessions are especially valuable for people managing specific conditions like back pain, prostate issues, insomnia, or chronic stress. Please mention your condition when booking so Amit can design your practice safely. Always consult your doctor if in doubt.

Sessions take place via Zoom or Google Meet. You'll receive a link ahead of time. All you need is a device with a camera, a stable connection, and enough floor space to move. Amit can see you clearly and provide real-time adjustments and corrections — exactly as in person.
