In The Yoga Retreat in Phu Quoc, You would be practicing authentic Yoga Asanas, Pranayama (Breathing), Meditation and Relaxation for 3 full days while also taking time off to experience the beautiful beaches & countryside of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. You would take these Yoga lessons with you to practice in your daily life, for just about 20 minutes to keep yourself healthy, strong and stress-free.

The Yoga retreat has 4 elements combined to be experienced:
1. Yoga

Learn and practice the art of Yoga in the correct way in your own body according to your bone structure. Nowadays we practice yoga sake of practice and therefore we forget the correct way of practicing it. Yoga is when “SthiramSukhamAsanam” = Stable, comfortable is an Asana or pose to Combine the Mind and Body. We do not have to be flexible to practice yoga, we become flexible as we start and continue with yoga practice.

2. PRANAYAMA

Pranayamas are breathing exercises developed and brought out by the ancient yogis. They are used in purifying the Nadis, the energy channels, in the Pranamaya we exercise to regulate, channelize the Prana in the body. Prana is taken in through the air we breathe, and since these breathing exercises increase the amount of air we take in, they also increase our intake of Prana.
The breathing techniques, we have forgotten to breathe correctly therefore in this 5 days yoga retreat we learn from the very beginning towards progressive breathing.

3. MEDITATION

Learn the science of mental control (better understanding), peace and health as well as to heal your mind, body, and soul. To get rid of suffering. To meditate while your walking, talking, eating, working and so on.

4. RELAXATION

Nowadays we have completely forgotten to relax our mind and therefore the body and the yoga retreat in Ninh Binh will help you relax more deeply and progressively. Which you can keep using in your daily life and stay relaxed.

Who is your guide?

Amit Namdev is the founder of Ashta Yoga Valley as well as Yoga with Amit. Where is the Retreat taking place?

The Retreat will take place in a Beautiful Island of Phu Quoc. Phú Quốc is a Vietnamese island off the coast of Cambodia in the Gulf of Thailand. It’s known for white-sand beaches and resorts, most of which are along the palm-lined southwest coast. More than half of the island is part of Phú Quốc National Park, which features mountains, dense tropical jungle, hiking trails, and wildlife.
